Human E.T. withdraws; memory keeps a difference; legibility becomes incidental. As Δ falls toward closure the interface blurs, dims and scrambles — the difference refusing to resolve. Re-enable Preserve or introduce a fragment to recover it.
The sound is synthesised from the process itself: two tones, one per coupled state, detuned by Δ — you hear them beat against each other, and the beating stops as the difference approaches closure.
